Sid Shaddock @ Hallett

Sid on a KLX 140 in F5 mini endurance at Hallett. 90% of the bikes out there are F4 Ninja 250's or Ride Smart chassis 85's and Sid's on a 12 HP four stroke minibike, LOL. Gotta make up in the corners what you lose on the straights. His team, Top Dog Racing, sponsored by Tim Johnson of Conroe (Sponsors: WRW Racing, JM Racing, Michelin, EBC Brakes, Machine Works Racing, A & A Racing, Syed Leathers, Shogun / Brooks Gremmels) took first at Hallett and ECR in f5. Team riders include Sid, Elizabeth Joy Size, Taylor Myers (who's dad runs Colin Edward's Texas Tornado Boot Camp), and occasional fill in by Ricky Parker.

That's me at 0:00 Race starts at 3:25.

so since to 250 became so popular and is for some reason classified is a "mini" only way to be competive is to have a 250 or spend a ton of money on a bike that will be competive?

Ninjas have scared off most of the smaller f5, f6, f7 bikes. only rs85's can compete, but cost a ton of cash. Or, a crf150r that costs thousands and thousands to keep top notch (I hear).

Unfortunately. This is a bit of a hotbed debate within the CMRA lately. It's the way the mini winds have blown, though.

Nice vid Sid.

I will have this bike up for sale after TWS (Texas World Speedway) in October. To be honest I will have two KLX 173's for sale. Also two KX 100's as well. The KLX is an F5 bike and the KX is an F4 bike. All four will be turn key race ready or I will let them got as is and you can set them up for yourselves. I will post them up in the classifieds here on this site come October. TJ.

Tim's bikes are top notch, well prepped, and no DNF's ever. Keep your eyes open if you are interested in CMRA or TMGP ready to roll competitive bikes.
