bad feeling

I was riding in to work this morning and something just didnt feel right. I was cruising down I10 and just felt off. It felt like I was wobbly. Something just wasnt right. it wasn't the bike, it was me. I've never felt that way before. I dont like it. I took the ramp from 610 to 45 UNDER the posted limit. I made it safe, and felt OK on the ride home. It just freaked me out!

When you get those feelings. Do not ride! Period. All of my crashes (track or otherwise) were due to that feeling. Many people have had the same results.

The day I got paralyzed I didn't really want to ride. But I didn't want my wife to be disappointed after making the 10 hour trip to Arkansas. So we gathered up our group to do a 100mile loop ride and within 25 miles of the trip, it was all over for me and the rest of our group.

So be safe and don't ride with those feelings. Pull over, go into a store, look around waste some time and see if you can change your mindset.

I've been riding for a pretty long time (15 years). I have never gone down (knock on wood), and never felt like that. I made it through safely, and that's what counts.

I have had that feeling once on Josh's bie when he let me ride it. Needless to say I didn't take any turns faster than the speed limit that night. It is a scary feeling, but always go with your gut. Better to be safe than sorry!!!

Hope you didn't just jinx yourself. I went down recently(not my fault) after 13 years of riding. If you ever get the feeling, get off.

I have been having a different feeling since Eric's accident Sunday. I've been scared and have been rationalizing my own mortality. I'm scared of the turns. I'm scared of the tiniest bit of gravel in the roadway.

I know that it will pass and I'll start feeling comfortable on the bike again, but maybe his accident will do some of us some good and we'll stay safer...

I get those feelings sometimes before an agressive ride or before trackdays but they soon pass. I think they are just part of the adrinilin (sp)
But they don't las long and I've never had them just riding to and from work.
