f4i vs 06 models

so this is really interesting, it has me scratching my head and so are the people i drag raced latley, i have the 02 f4i with autozone flex pipe as a exaust pipe. and 1 down 2 up gears thats it.
me and some guys of this board decided to mess around on a abandoned road and see what happens, so far the competitors were a, 2006 gsxr600 (stock) 2006 gixxer600 (1 down 3 up, slip on, maybe more) , tcmatt's 05 gsxr750 and on a rare occasion away this group a 2005 -2006 gsxr1000. and surprisingly the f4i pulled away from all both gixxers, leaving an impressive gap, we thought i was getting the launch so we went from a role, even worse for the gixxers, matts 750 was the only bike that kept side to side and even then ive beat it all the way to 150 or so 2 outta 3 times, and a few months back racing the 1000 it was side to side up till 4th gear and only then it got away after 155mph or so. no bullshit here, my bikes way down on power compared to these bikes the only thing we could think of is my weight, im only around 134lbs but could that really make such a huge difference? this is actualy dissapointing for me since im looking forward to getting a new bike in the near future .. but if theyre losing to a 4 almost 5 year old bike thats not really considered (competitive) with the new bikes its kinda depressing? i guess a better test would be to swap bikes and then see what happens which ill probably try next and these results came with me mis shifting a few times. just really interesting stuff here i htought id share with you guys i really dont know what else it could be besides my weight but a few of these riders wernt heavier then me. what do you thinks happening here.:confused1 :confused2

alright sm j82 you live in my town too, lets ride this weekend, ive been wanting to see what those new r6's were packin and arturo does track riding make a person a better drag racer too? i know it sure as does in the turns and everything else. i remember the bbq though you and a few guys from the board left out on a session and i was hurrying to put on my helmet and get out there before you guys got to far, i remember turn 2 and 3 getting infront of the guys with you about 40 -50 yards infront of me headed down the straight for the diamonds edge, you have the 636? my bikes closed alot of that gap on that straight i dont remember exactly when i got around you but i remember you passing me back and scaring the outta me near the last portions of the track im not bragging about my bike i hate it, but really this IS interesting info.

Rider weight is definitely a factor. Power to weight ratio can make a huge difference, not to mention if you're quicker on the shift / not rolling off the throttle when you shift.
