Nearing 6k!

My 09 TRIUMPH SPEED TRIPLE is nearing 6k miles. Called the dealer and they said the cost will be $250. They do an oil change and they look over the bike, thats all they told me they do. $250 seems like a lot just to change my oil and look over my bike. Not the mention the dealer is in south houston and I live in spring. Anywhere closer that I can get this done at and cheaper?

$250 for an oil change is unreasonable. Sure that doesn't include valve adjustment?

You're probably out of warranty, but if you aren't make sure that non-triumph mechanics will keep you inside it.

British USA is the south houston dealer. I can't speak for their service guys, but the parts counter took three weeks, and two tries, to get the throttle tube I asked for. Just go to Motorcycles Unlimited.

The dealer will check for stored fault codes on the ECU. Make sure you use synthetic oil.
