EZ Tag ?

I went to pick up an EZ Tag device for my motorcycle the other day and was told I had an outstanding toll. I asked when and what time and was told Wednesday May 18th at 20:something between 290 and I 10 at the Clay road booth.

I was kind of shocked at first because I didn't remember riding on the toll road on my motorcycle ever, I then asked for proof. So the lady whips the monitor around and the plate has two digits that are illegible and it didn't look like my bike. I told them it wasn't my bike take a look it is sitting right in front of the plate glass window and the license plate in the photo is illegible. I was not charged however am thinking this may come up again.

Has this happened to anyone else, and how much of a pita is it to get resolved?

If it isnt your bike, it isnt your bike. Simple as that. If they cannot tell from the photo, you're gonna have to get a judge to point out the obvious.

Except when they auto deduct it from his account now that he has one. Don't know, but wouldn't surprise me.

eztag is easy as to get charges dropped. i've had a credit card expire before and it couldn't automatically add money to my acccount.

i ended up with like 300 dollars in fee's for running tolls. when i called, i gave them a new current card number and the chick on the phone dropped all my charges before i even asked her about them.

I bought a used car in 2004. A month later a bill for $300+ shows up from HCTA on my doorstep for this "new" car. Pictures, licenses matched, the works. Only problem, they were from BEFORE I bought the car.

Come to find out, the previous owner like to use the tollway without paying!

E-mailed them the bill of sale with date and the dates of the offenses and they dropped the matter!

Dump a pint of oil in your gas tank before you run the tollway. It's so smokey the pictures are worthless.

Of course there's still a price to pay - - - -

I actually saw that this weekend!

Cat was on a sporty bopping down the beltway...

Coming up to a toll plaza he reaches back and turns his plate sideways....

after the plaza he reaches back and straightens it out...

I though cool and what a at the same time...

^ I think a guy on here got arrested for his plate folding up. Cop was behind him on the toll road. Not worth it IMO.

Guy: What's the problem officer?
LEO: Well meow, you drove thru the toll booth and it says you didn't pay.
Guy: Really? The toll booth said that?
LEO: Actually, just meow saw you turn your plate around.
Guy: Hmm... must have bumped it when I stretched, this is a very uncomfortable position.
LEO: Well hop off meow to stretch. You're going to jail, RIGHT MEOW!
