Well, if you consider "weird" to be that it's a public road and shouldn't be ridden at the kind of speeds you're suggesting, then yeah - it's weird.

**I'm in no way saying that Eric was going that fast. I have no idea how fast he was going.**

****disclaimer***

I am in no way advocating traveling at that speed, and would never do such a thing myself....

Just an observation from the peanut gallery....

I was in the "small group" in front of Eric and our ceiling was 120 on the straights...If I had to guess I'd say I went through that set of turns right around 95 to 100 m.p.h.

Just curious, is there a yellow recommended speed before the curves?
Curious because on unfamiliar roads I use that for a yardstick on my entry speed. If not, I use the posted speed limit.

In that case, I would assume a 55 posted speed.. which would back up what I said originally.

Not that I would ever go that fast on a public road or anything....

Some of the curves had a posted curve speed and some did not and I think that was one of the curves that was not posted.

I'm 95% sure I saw a yellow sign(right to left curve) with a smaller yellow suggested speed under it before the turns in question. I do not remember the suggested speed but I think it was 45 or 55. As for weird road conditions...the left starts while going uphill and finishes on the backside. The crest is somewhere around the first driveway(smaller, black gate). I couldn't see anything on the backside until I came over the crest. People were already stopped when I came over the hill.
