Lightest 600cc/1000cc?

i haven't been around bikes in ages, last one i sat on was my bike ol rc51

but the time for me picking up a new bike is getting closer and closer and time to start researching. ive always been a cbr fan (check my bikes) but i saw the new zx6 and it looks tiny, maybe it was the pictures but im not sure. i know the r6 were pretty wide up front with those headlights. not sure about gsxrs but i know i dont want one.

anyway whats the lightest sportbike in the 600 and 1000 class?

who rides a dry bike? Everyone measures differently, so dry weight claims are always suspect. And the OEM can was around 12 lbs.

I've had 2 of them. 444 lbs wet.
