Progressive's service is fantastic. I have had nothing but good experiences with them for both cars and motorcycles.

If that is true, I am going to go elseware I think.

They did a nice job when I slid my junk along the roof of a parking garage.
I haven't actually seen the policy, but a couple of people say that it now excludes "any closed course event" which would include trackdays as well as training courses.

Just one of my issues with them.

It's been probably 3 years, but the last quote I got from progressive on my bike was $2400 every 6 months. When I asked about why it was so much higher they told me it was because with my current carrier I had multi-car discounts. Yeah right. But I can say with progressive you won't be found at fault. They deny every claim they can until the other insurance company gives up. Their customers are never in the wrong even when they are. It's an unethical business practice, but not illegal.

Im with Allstate, Comp//collision/liab/accessory coverage/no medical. 290/yr Harris County.

It helps too have a bike is not popular, ie huge claims history.

Mine is an 1100. The Blackbird is listed as a sport tourer which helps a lot. The fact that I am old as dirt and haven't had a claim since 1983 doesn't hurt much either. That might be why they insure me for $8/month
