Either that or he thinks the few bucks he spent on lights and a slip-on justify charging 2K over sticker - cuz, you know, his 750 is just so unique and bad-azz...

I was just hoping he moved that decimal point one spot too far to the right....

I'd love to know his reasoning for asking 2K over list on a used bike...let us know what he says...other than the predictable " you man, this bike is the hawtness!"

Says he has the title...

He paid 13k OTD from Tejas... telling me that's where the deals are at.

I then proceeded to tell him that this was a joke and that he was high for think it would sell for that price. I also suggested to put the pipe down.

Now I wait for more...

that's almost more than I paid for my r1

I know quite a few people might do alright on the sales price, but get totally raped on the loans. For example I got an extremely low rate on the r1, for three years. then after the free years the rate goes up to 28% Problem is most people just don't care, and end up making minimum payments for almost a decade

A friend of a friend bought a gsxr 600 on one of those hsbc deals, took him seven years to pay it off... just stupid..

edit: most likely this guy is just on crack though, because he says he has the title...

that too. I have a hard time getting dealers to cover under the manufacturers warranty, why in the would I want to pay more money to have them deny legitimate warranty claims. I always tell sales guys "all I'm paying for is the bike" the last couple of times they've tried to tack on the dealer fee's, sometimes you can get them to completely remove them, but I settled for 50% which is probably still %500 of what it actually costs them in time.
