NOLO Motorsports Park to offer $50 supermoto track days

The new track in New Orleans is going to let motards and 250cc sportbikes run on the kart track. Price is going to be $50 a day no membership required and you can ride it every single day they don't have a race or a corporate track day. Will be in a session format so the karts go separately. The GM says that if they will consider building a dirt section if they get enough interest. Key words being "consider" and "if". Bit of a drive but it looks like a nice facility.

Would be fun but money wise it's not really a good deal when you factor in gas and a hotel. Still would be cheaper to go to a local track.

That's what makes is less attractive.

Even for me, Katy isn't that great cause of drive, guess I should just pack up and head north of I-10.

Unless of course, some has 200k I could borrown to buy Angleton Motocross and build a SM track.

Oh I still want to go. It would be pricey but worth it. Leave Friday after work. Get into town at midnight. Ride from 9am til whenever and then go party in New Orleans and eat a bunch of good food. Stay tuned for this November trip!

It's still a new track to ride.
I'm down for a trip.
Any idea how wide the cart track is?

I'd be in...once the KTM is back.

Ride motards, eat good food, drink a lot and enjoy New Orleans? Oh yeah.

It looks like the kart track will open first. After looking at the map and seeing that it basically has no straight aways it seems it would wear you out pretty quick. Has multiple configurations from a short .7 mile to a decent 1.5 mile course.

Finally talked to a real person over there and they said that if 15-20 guys were coming from Houston to ride one day they could put it on their calendar as a supermoto only track day since we were driving so far to use the track. That way we wouldn't have to do a session format to share with karts. With some proper planning it might be possible.
