CRF 450 tard on craigslist

Found this on craigslist. He's askin to much for it but if someone can knock down the price this would be a sweet ride.

The maybe bit unrealistic price on craigslist is by far a better price than what he is asking local to mh.

I wish there was a reasonable way to deal with people who post up bikes at OUTRAGEOUS prices for sale, its incredibly annoying.

its not outrageous to the seller and potential buyer who thinks its worth that much.

I dont understand why people just dont ignore "high" prices and go on about their lives?

That statement can pretty much cover anything you want..

I dont understand why people just dont ignore "comments they dont like" and go on about their lives?

See?
Now as to why its a problem? Because some of us who constantly buy numerous bikes (myself sometimes 2-3 a year) get annoyed at being forced to haggle with some idiot who thinks his bike is worth 3000$ more than every other bike on the market because his ball sweat is keeping the leather on the seat moist.

you arent FORCED to haggle, dont like it? Dont buy it? If you want it bad enough, HAGGLE or pay what they are asking...

Life is much less stressfull this way.

I quit telling people what their cars were worth, sometimes it'd them off.

I now tell them it's worth EXACTLY what someone is willing to pay and not a penny more.

This applies to most things in life....

Its not a complacent mentality, its the true spirit of capitalism. You vote with your wallet. If you think someone is selling something at a price you don't want to pay.................you go find something else. I can't believe this is a difficult concept to grasp.
