Everyone on MH is a lawyer and highly qualified to give you legal advice to proceed.
ummm - not?
Why are you asking this question here? I could understand you "telling the story" if he hit your BIKE in the parking lot and knocked it over or somthing, but until Toyota starts making the Camry in a two wheel version I think you need to ask advice from a professional lawyer with a degree rather than procure 35 "opinions" of bikers.
But that's just my opinion.

so if it was for a bike then i could ask legal questions here but since its for a car then nobody is qualified enough.. hmm. and purpose was just to get an idea and people like Bevo, Joshua and few others have done that.

and it was that big of a deal i'd figure moderators would close the thread.

.
I believe that there are at least 3 attorneys on the forum. I am not one of them, but I can share my story and others are free to do the same.

That's the thing about forums, people are free to post whatever they want once it is within the confines of the forum rules.

Don't like it, the owner of MH has a saying for that...

slick!

you got enough peeps and help with you to go to his door and grab his collar!
you need to do exactly that!

well - obviously in a non-abusive or illegal way... but scare the out of him by going there so he knows you know where he is...

if you are expecting for HPD to come in and do about a fender bender - you are out of your mind dude!

I guess I was wrong. Maybe MH is a place to discuss your car. But I didn't say "nobody" is qualified. I DID say to get advice from an attorney. And I did say that's my "opinion", meaning that's what I would do, which is what you asked. If there are some attorneys that visit this site, great. You asked, "what would you do?" I guess you weren't really looking for a legal way to handle your situation. Sorry, I missunderstood. Guess you did ask for opinions and not "legal" questions, but now you say "legal" questions. So these questions have greencards? or visas? I'm so confused.
Could you ask just one more time just exactly what you want? Maybe a breathmint.

Go to his house. Ask for restitution. Record your conversation. Ignore the lil on the board that say let him walk away. He deserves trouble.
