+1

It happens. We have all made mistakes. Lets not criticize on what we need to do or what should have been done. happens..to all of us. She is going to be fine and that is all that matters.
Thanks again Jim for taking her home. Big kudos to you good sir...

Also thanks to the guys that helped moved the bike and for everyone sticking around and not burning off. I appreciate all the support.

Thanks to Bevo for helping with traffic.

You're right, neither did she from what I read...

Let's not go there with this thread...but accidents happen...

I also said the track is a experience everyone should have... but it's also not an accident free place, is all. It depends on the rider.

Glad she's ok. But just curious. Why is the back tire on backwards?

If it is, some riders do that because of uneven wear from a track day

Its hard to say "Go do a track day", lots of these kids can barely afford their bikes.
Most org offer some pretty good incentives to new track riders; free gear rentals, half price days, etc.. Now when it comes to transporting your bike to the track, for the most part all you have o do is ask and someone willbe happy to help.

Glad to here that Rachelle is not only going to be ok, but that she and EMTPete are both talking track bike and I heard thru second hand comments that while she was still lying on the ground she was talking of getting a brand new 2011. EMTPete also made the comment that she has already done some trackdays and has been riding a long time.

you Bevo! It's all your fault. If you just hadn't taken the lead before those corners came up this wouldn't have happened. Neither would this. This is your fault to..................

O well Adam aka. EMTAggie will be happy I got a new pic for my avatar. Since the other avatar pic was got on his ride. The game Warden said I didn't use my blinker after I passed him. haha I replied " I passed you?" I won't post the rest of our conversation.

Nope I got the real deal.
speeding undetermined and
fail to indicate turn/pass.

I believe I used it. I'm pretty religious about using it. I just never remember to turn the dam things off afterwards. problem is that I pass quick so the blinker never gets a chance to blink more than 3 or 4 times to pull out and 3 or 4 to pull back in. And they are really small 4 leds per side with the tail eliminator.
When I pull back in my lane I usually
1) turn the signal on,
2) pull in,
3) wave to the car I just passed and then
4) turn the signal off.
Not sure what the law is on signaling, but if my memory serves me correct MC's aren't even required to have them. I guess it's up to the rider to do the signaling if you don't use ones on the bike.

I do agree that every rider should do at least 1-2 trackdays.

Best wishes to her.
I didn't say people don't go down on the track. Nor did I suggest that people should not ride the streets anymore.

What I am saying is that people that do occasional track days are less likely to crash on backroads rides. Of the 30+ people I have seen crash on 3090, 149, 362, 1488, 949, sisters, 1736, etc etc I'd guess that only 2 or 3 of them had done track days. The rest? You guessed it. No track days. People that don't do track days think they are "in over their head" and give up on the corner when in fact, they were not even close to over their head.

Anyway, I say all this because my heart sinks every time I read one of these threads. So much could be prevented and slowing down isn't always the answer. The fact of the matter is that so many people just don't ride their motorcycles very well.

Peace and get well soon!

I'm with you too bro...

My heart sinks too when I see riders down...but a lot of track people act like track is a "no crash zone" it wasn't too directed towards you...mostly the "only track" ppl.

I always tell anyone that comes to the meets...DO A TRACK DAY.
