Motorcycle Wreck on FM 362

There was a group of sport bikes at the big "S" turn on FM362 about 10:30 am. Look like, what was left of a yellow motorcycle, was all wadded up on the side of the road.

Hope the guy was OK. I think the rider had already been taken away by the time I went by. There were several cops cruising in that area at the same time.
Not sure if the group of Sportbikes was a group from this forum.

Wow, I passed that group at the Exxon on Huffmeister at about 8:05 am, on my way to Chappel Hill.

Is the rider OK? Looks like he went under / through the barbed wire fence!

How fast were you guys going, if you don't mind me asking?

She seemed to be fine...BTW...the bike went over the fence without touching it...that open part of the fence was from some other wreck....she went down about 10 feet ahead of the cruisers parked there.

Female rider went a bit wide, hit gravel and low sided.
She rolled into the grass but the bike caught, flipped OVER the barbed fence. She was conscious and talking but paramedics took her in.

I hope she can post up and let us know if she's ok.

Waiting on results from the tests at the ER.. lots of bumps and bruises but nothing major (awaiting x-rays)

She tumbled about 100 feet but luckily stayed away from the fence.. she is talking track bike now...

I've pulled so many people out of ditches and pastures along all those backroads around Houston. I witnessed Pigpen take his last breath and I knew Coach Dave.

Do yourself a favor a do some track days. There's really no excuse for running wide.

Best wishes for a speedy recovery. I'm glad it wasn't worse.

This is good advice, but people also go down at the track. Over your head is over your head, no matter where you are riding.

I do agree that every rider should do at least 1-2 trackdays.

Best wishes to her.

Last time I checked no one ended up in a barbed-wire fence when they ran wide at the track.. little bit diff if ya ask me.

Best wishes to the rider. Hope they dont let this get them down.

She is going to be fine. Took them and the bikes home. Bumps, bruises and a couple cuts.

She has been riding a while, and said she just f--ked up and looked out at the field mid corner and lost her line.

Wasn't going to fast or a panic crash; a simple plain brain fart that cost her the bike and some pain for a few days.
