You may lose valves and an engine depending on how you ride.

dont listen to these fools. they are just hating that you come up with all the good ideas. i ran headers on my R1 and gained 7 horsepower. its less restrictive and loud pipes save lives. so i dont see a down fall to this. them valves wount go out. they are tuff as .

x2 The odds are slim to none on messing up your motor. Its fun for a little bit. But you will get tired of it. Its loud. Just pull the clutch in when you see cops and try and coast by them if possible.

i ran without a muffler at TWS (Texas World Speedway) once because my pipe was crushed in a previous wreck. I lost major power. infact the bike wouldnt accelerate at all at times. I had to resort to maintaining speed and not worry about accelerating. It was also crazy freaking loud! i wanted to cut my ears off!

you can probably get a custom "C" pipe made from KaleCoAuto. check their website.

what you really want is a "c" shape pipe that will go from the exhaust manifolds, and loop back around to your intake manifolds. that way you can just rip the stock airbox right out and trash it, or ebay it or whatever...that saves weight too.

plus it will act like a super turbo, recycling all that exhaust straight back into the intake. with zero % loss, its more efficient than ram air. on top of that any unburnt fuel will just get burned the second time around. more HP + more MPG! im suprised this really hasnt caught on yet.
