I think she is glad we took care of him like family. She was real sweet on the phone.

Let me know when she gets here. I'd like to meet her.

I really think that eventhough a lot of us never met before, we all did what we could. We stay there with him, tried to get info, the first guys were brave enough to hold him still while bleeding and trying to breath, the guy that called 911, some trying to find his real name, numbers, some went with him to the hospital, some had to leave, some could stay, I think that all stuck together well. I am sure that once he is tranfer to houston a lot of us will go visit him.

I was not involved in the accident but today's actions make MH a nice place to hang out.
THANKS MH for being there.

nice bike!
Sorry to hear of the accident
Hope for a fast and full recovery.
Was that bike purchased like that or did he make it that way? I've never seen one before in those colors or badging.

He had it done custom. It was a beautiful bike indeed.
Just met him yesterday at Motorcycles Unlimited and talked to him for a while about it.
He seems like a really nice guy and I hope he pulls through okay.
Guys, please, know your limits out there. This was one of those accidents that could have been avoided. My thoughts and prayers go out to him and his family.

This accident rattled my cage today. Sitting besides him while he was trying SOOOOO hard to breath scared me a little. I actually thought we were about to lose him. He had blood coming from his ear, nose, and mouth. Eyes were shut, body was not moving, and he was gasping for air through his nose and could hardly get any. He started to come to right when the EMS arrived.

Which reminds me - whoever talks to Lili next - find out what she wants us to do about the bike. I'm sure the longer it sits out there the more it'll cost, so let's see what paperwork is needed to get it. I forgot to look in his wallet for insurance, so we'll need to know if it has full coverage. Patrick - if it is, you can do the estimate, right?

Let me know if I can help picking up his bike and taking it somewhere. I have a truck and a trailer that are available and my time is pretty flexible so let me know. If someone need to get ahold of me best way is cell

832.526.5477 If I don't pick up, leave a message and I'll get back to you soon.

FYI - Storage and towing fees rack up VERY quickly.

The papers from the LEO are folded in his wallet. He got a ticket, but there might also be something about the impound. Otherwise, I'm sure the hospital can find out.

Yes, but it's customary. No matter how fast he was going, he was unable to control the vehicle so it is considered unsafe speed.
