wolf spiders get pretty big down here in texas, like mini taranchulas!
i belive lycosa rabidosa is what we see alot of down here :icon_smil
years back i woke up with a HUGE wolf sipder carrying its young right by my face. 600px Wolf spider with young in garden
i some how managed to pull a tripple somersault out of the bed with out upseating the mattress or touching a thing

how the **** did you get rid of it? spiders carrying young honestly I belive would have enough power to make me uncontrollably lose my bowls. thats a time bomb waiting to happen with no way of diffusing

I have tons of these wolf spiders out here I HATE them. I have found a few with all the babies crowded on it's back. Ugh.. it's so gross looking. ( i can't help but look) :eh:

It's sorta rare, but they occasionally try to climb walls. I spooked one that was carries babies and when it fell to the porch it looked like a spider explosion. Really. A small blast wave of thousands of tiny wolf spiders spreading in all directions.

Now I keep my spider spray handy. Shoot first, and ask.. nope.. shoot 'em again.
