The second pic of the pumphouse really gives you a sense of scale.
Great pics! Glad you had a chance to do that and share with us.

Beautiful picts man! Ive done Durango - Silverton - Ouray then over to Steamboat Springs. But I was on pavement the entire time. I've never been tempted to offroad until I saw your pictures. Inspiring!

It is great up there. Did some dual sport riding with friends up there about 6 or 7 years ago based out of Ouray. It was early September and a freak early snow storm made most of the passes impassible but it was interesting riding in the snow trying to get over the passes.

You got some great pictures to go with the good times.

Only 2 of us came from TX and the bikes were brought up in a truck. Everyone else is in my brother's riding group (Northern Colorado Trail Riders). Everyone on a 2-stroke could get over 100 miles on a tank so really only had to get fuel 1 or 2 times. You just carry a little pre-mix in your backpack. We would just dip down into a town for a fuel stop on those longer days. Everyone was plated street legal. The only guy who had fuel range issues was on the KTM 450 4-stroke. He hit reserve twice. But other than that, no issues.
