Frame Dipping?

Hey guys i was wondering if anybody knew of some places i can get my frame,pegs,swingarm etc. dipped. Im trying to find somebody that can do it in BLACK CHROME but dont know of anybody,im also trying to get prices on the dip if any of you have done it on your bike before (how much did it cost).....so if you know of somebody let me know....thanks.....seeya

I wouldn't chrome a frame. Everywhere that the motor, swingarm and subframe mounts, will spiderweb and crack after awhile. Also, because aluminum is porus, chrome does not adhere very well.

i agree. if you want a shiny look just polish the frame and maybe dip the wheels. there is a write on how to polish your bike on www.kawiforums.com

polishing is more work to up keep, but at least its cheaper and you can always paint it back.

well see i cant polish it cause i want the black chrome look, cause im tired of just seeing chromed out bikes and want to do something different. i already have a bunch of black chrome accesories and looks bad on my candy fire red paint. so what do yall suggest cause i know for sure i dont want the grey machine finish everywhere on my bike, maybe just paint the frame etc black and dip the wheels? whats yall input?

i say leave it how it is. seems like a waste of time and money to try and make your bike stand out. spend the money on performance upgrades or a riding school
