I told them to off, and called the other mancuso and they quote me 106...which is still high. They claimed its a big tire so it took them 2 hours to change it. Really? I could take it off in my garage in 5 minutes...fact is its hot and im paying you to do it but not rape me.
it requiered a 50 or 55mm socket to take the wheel off. I was charged only $60 and they did it in 45 mins! Carlos even personally tested the tire and did a few wheelies down the road

What is with this code speak about Cory, Houston Superbikes, wrecked Ducati's, popcorn? WTF dude, say what you gotta say. I don't know these guys, what they are up to, or anything. On the net they get good reviews all around. But it seems you just came on the board to deflect, so spill it, or STFU.

Mancusa still sucks, best as I can tell, from what everyone is saying.

This mob mentality never ceases to amaze me.
You don't like someone's prices or service, don't go there.

I know Carlos and Trevor at mancuso, and both are good folks. No need to smear the shop.

Looks like in the end all was made right, so move on.

if I read correctly, yamaha paid for the clutch, mancuso paid for service. So all was made right.

And whoever is trashing the other shop is no better than the mob in this thread.

I don't get how Yamaha would go, "oh here's a free clutch" but won't cover the labor. Sounds like someone got paid twice for the work. No real evidence to back that statement up of course, pure speculation on my end.

Ok, but since it wasn't warranty, what's the problem? A business is suppose to give free labor? Doesn't work like that in the real world.

It sucks the op had to go through this, and I know he's frustrated, but life isn't always fair. happens.

So issue resolved. Smearing the shop isn't going to get his money back.

It wasnt a warranty but Yamaha provided the clutch at no charge

The business can treat their customers however they want, but when they screw people word gets out.

These days its on the customer to make sure they get the right service, right the first time. If I wouldve had this experience I would not go to a business that treated this way, I would also not buy from the Supplier (Yamaha).
I see both sides. A customer has a defective new bike. He wants it fixed.

A business has a bike that needs service not under warranty. They can't be expected to give money away in parts and service. They don't know how it was ridden. If they did that for every customer they wouldn't be in business very long.

It's a catch 22. I think understanding both sides makes things clear. He git free parts, but paid for service. That's not entirely unfair.

But as a business owner, I know I have to take care of my customers. Sometimes compromise is the only solution, sometimes I give freebies. Sometimes I don't.

A mob bashing the shop doesn't get anything accomplished.
