Team Mancuso Strikes again!

I purchased a Yamaha r1 on July 2nd. This last tuesday evening the bike stopped shifting. Take it back to Team Mancuso SW and they say the clutch is gone. They say there is no sign of manufacturer defect and I will have to pay for the clutch replacement. The kicker is there is 455 miles on the bike, and I have yet to pay my first payment on the bike.

Any ideas on how to solve this issue? I am on hold with Yamaha as i write this.

Of forgot to add that this is my third bike. The first was a ZX6 with 15k miles on it, and the second a Harley with 5k miles, neither had a clutch replaced.

Who is looking at your bike? Do you drag race that thing or just suck at using a clutch? I can't understand how its worn that much with 500 miles....there's something they are not telling you

oh wow...so glad to have not bought from there...DUDE! Check and see if you have a warranty and make sure you know all your rights. It might be under the LEMON LAW im not sure but if you just bought it should be under warranty. There is no way a clutch should be giving out at 400miles...seriously? (GET MAD!)

Ive been on phone with them, and on hold with Yamaha now. I asked even if im riding the clutch, 455 miles? I put a lot of miles on my Ninja and never had a problem. He said maybe yamaha assembled it wrong.

the bike should have 1 year warranty.... I think? right?
if so... then they should cover anything wrong with it, if its cause by a ((Manufacture defect)) if there are any prove of any abusive driving to the fail compounent then that claim CAN be denied under warranty.
they should be able to show you that its not a manufacture failure, they should be able to show you that you it up before warranty work is denied.

hope everything works out for you...

note: I know if a customer is not happy.. then they can call customer service and get a claim open on your vehicle for help.

they are just an authorize dealer (NOT YAMAHA)
By the way... what mancuso is this?? where at??

Team Mancuso Powersports SW. Yamaha is saying that the clutch can go out way faster than 400 miles. She put me on hold to call Mancuso.
