Forget the thread and add some black electrical tape around the circumference of the tires. It will give another 2 maybe 3k miles of life to the old tires, lol

I did a search on ebay. I must be spelling it wrong. I can't find a price anywhere. I can't find any instructions on how to even put it on. Hyper color - hyperthread - Which is better? It sounds good as long as it's not more than a whole new tire.
But seriously now - doesn't Armor All make some spray on tire grip?

Is this "friend" the same guy that told you to save weight by taking off the chain guard because they are useless? When was the last time you ever heard of someone stealing a chain?

you are doing it wrong....... go find a place where they are making a new ROAD, then ask them to give you some of that black top to put on your tires and once you put it on, you will never have to worry about your tires! Best idea eva!!!!!
ps: make sure that you put it on when its hot.

Oh Floyd, you are so funny I almost forgot to laugh. I won't tell anyone about the time you replaced your hydraulic turn signals with mechanical ones because you thought the blinker pads would last longer. oops I guess I just did. Sorry honey. What do you think I am? Stooopid?

No way!
The hydraulic turn signals last longer, you just have to remember to change the fluid every 3,000 blinks.

while you are doing the tire work, you might as well reuse those wheel bearings to replace the muffler bearing. the wheel bearings hold up longer and you'll never need to replace them again. but you need to change the actual wheel bearings every tire thread replacement

Good call!
When replacing the wheel bearings it is important NOT to use a slide hammer. You don't want your wheels to get any slide in them, ever!

I'd like to get back to replacing the tire thread please!!!!!!! There is a screw in the back that is locking the bolt from turning. Looks like a regular philips but I can NOT get the sucker loose. I think I need a left handed screwdriver because all of mine are right handed and it won't budge so I was wondering if someone had one and would let me borrow it for like 10 seconds to pop it loose.

Don't be a hater. Nothing I can do about 's choice. Just because He gave me 3 and you have 1 has nothing to do with your ability to ride or help me out with your knowledge. I'm sure replacing tire thread is simple to you because you've done it a lot. Well, I haven't. Help me out with this and I'll help you out by introducing you to some of the girls that hang out with me. I'm sure at least one of them might like you.
