Tire Thread almost gone

A friend at Twin Peaks told me my tire thread is almost gone. I'm not sure how to put more on. Confession here: I'm really not even sure what size thread comes in and I'm guessing some kind of needle comes in the kit???

I'd go with pink thread...and make large stitches so it stands out. You'll need a heavy duty needle to push through the sidewalls when you lay the new rubber on.

Get it on ebay. It comes from China, so it's super cheap, but you'll have to wait a while for shipping.

you could get the carbon fiber kind, then you put some fiberglass resin over it and bake it and you'll never need to buy any again

no need for hyperthreading. . .he needs some old school Hyper Color thread so he can tell when the tire is nice and warm!

To the OP... don't listen to these guys.
Get the glue on type, it's a lot easier and they have better traction.
