nice job brotha. if you got any questions on paint/supplies or instruction. give me a shout, i'd be happy to point you in the right direction.

urethane paint is the only way to go!

and if you have imperfections....black is a VERY bad choice, unless you don't care about seeing them.

i do have imperfections.

by the time i got done fixing everything i did fix and then more problems came up i realized that this stuff only had a limited time left in it. I believe the the term is Not For Profit on this job. I will take you up on the offer for tips and direction. I really enjoy this work but trial and error is a !

yeah, trial and error can cost big money with body work. yep, and i fully understand what you mean when you say more problems came up. these body work really don't have as many lives as people think they do. and after extensive repairs....sometimes you just gotta pray it will stay together in 1 piece.

but the body work definately looks 10 times better. outstanding job indeed, imperfections or not. bringing that body work back to life (without duct tape) gets .

the pressure at the gun is about 28

The gun is.... Devilbiss, Finish Line, Gravity feed, hvlp

I got it in a kit with a full size and a detail gun, cleaning tools, and two set-ups for the full size gun, one for primer and one for paint. At least that's what I think the other set up is for.

gonna go spray the yellow number plates now.

EDIT: UGH! I had some issues with the gun. Found a great guide online from Devilbiss. Solved the problem and finished. I wish I found that guide a long time ago.

It's done and looks pretty good. I have two sets of fairings for my bike, once i get both of them painted I'll prolly swap out and touch up Nut's. I'll have better skillz by then.

Yeah, 28 is high. I just know the gun said max of 30 so i figured i would be safe to stay a bit below. Got the job done but lots of over spray in the booth.

I'm using Nason.

hmm.. how do you measure pressure at the tip? yes, there is a regulator at the base of the handle.

i have a pressure guage at the handle also so I know the pressure going into the gun.
