Like most any battery if you deep cycled it too hard the battery may be toast. I doubt it though, it should charge up.

and if you need a battery, don't pay the absurb prices for moto batteries. Walmart almost always carries an ATV/jetski battery that'll fit for a 1/3 of the price.

If you're going to get a trickle charger you should just spend a couple of extra dollars and get a float charger. They're much more useful than a trickle charger, especially if for some reason you ever have the bike (or any other battery containing vehicle) sitting around for a while. Like this one:
