Nissan service

A friend of mine is in need of some motor work/replacement on his 2004 350z. The other day when it rained he drove through some water and it sucked up his cold air intake and it messed up a piston. He has taken it to some dealerships and they want over 12 thousand to replace the motor. Needless to say he does not want to pay that much so I was if you guys knew anyone. I know houstonimports.com exists but I don't know anyone on the site so I don't trust them or any of their "sponsers". Any recommendations?
