Noob-ish Ride---Saturday 7/30

EDIT: Ride is for 7/30

This will be similar to the rides I have put together in the past. Pace will be the same, but the route will be slightly different. I've modified it slightly to allow more time in the twisties. HAVE YOUR T TOGETHER. This means valid driver's license, "M" endorsement, insurance and current registration.

Date: 7/30
Time: 8:15-11:30(ish)

Meet at Panera Bread in Pearland
10621 Broadway Street, Suite 113
Pearland, TX 77584-8078

Pre-ride meeting 8:15. KSU 8:30. Come fueled up and ready to go. This ride will be at a moderate pace from Pearland to Katy. Ride is approximately 125 miles and will take about 3 hours (according to Google). There will be plenty of twisties to keep it interesting. We will make one stop in Sugarland for gas and a quick break, then we will continue. The ride will end at Fuddrucker's in Katy.

At minimum, you need a helmet, jacket, gloves and boots. If I wear all that on a cruiser, there's no reason for you not to on a sport bike. This ride is open to all, but will be taken at a more noob-friendly pace. If even one rider is showing signs of being uncomfortable, we will slow down as much as necessary to prevent a mishap. No dangerous behavior will be tolerated no matter how much experience you have. If you want to be a douchebag, find another ride. If you want to ride DPSL, find another ride.

I have it somewhere. I'll have to find it. Gotta admit, I wasn't expecting him to be standing in the middle of the road.

"HAVE YOUR T TOGETHER. This means valid driver's license, "M" endorsement, insurance and current registration."

valid drivers license---check
"M" endorsement--check
insurance --check
current registration--hmmm..I recently purchased my rc51 and I am in Chicago until Friday nite...my 51 is registered in the previous owners name still, and will be until monday when I get the title changed...I do not have any registration papers with the bike, the previous owner kept them ,(I do have a bill of sale showing the date of purchase, and the title) ...can I still ride or should I wait until the title is changed?

thanks
chuck

Yes, you can ride as long as the registration tag on your plate is current. Since you have everything else, it probably wouldn't be an issue anyway.

Gotta tell the whole story, man. He had ridden ahead of the group and stopped to shoot video of us passing by. While trying to catch up with us, he met a LEO going the opposite way and got tagged. LEO was cool, though. He had seen us, and figured our hooligan was just trying to catch up. Gave him a verbal and sent him on his way.
