I did the 610W to 610S sweeper with someone who had dropped a bike and was really shaky about curves. We ran that one at about 35-40 with me running block on the cars that tried to run up our . Talk about scary!

If that was "scary" then you should probably avoid group rides of any "skill level" right now. Stick to solo until you feel more confident with the bike and your ability. Something about group rides just tends to get people in over their heads, seems like.
