I would let a blind epileptic man shave my entire body with a hunters knife then ride a pool noodle through shark infested waters with Snookie on my back fist pumping my head just to get the chance to purchase your bikini bottoms after they had been donated to Goodwill then bought and worn by a homeless male prostitute for 5 years.

For the Aprilia, let's say...eff me on the maintenance front!

In all seriousness though I've ridden the SXV 350 miles so far and haven't had any major issues, and it had 4,800 miles on it from the previous owner. The oil change interval is pretty often, but now that I've done it once it will be faster/easier next time. I already ordered a complete set of valve shims for the valve adjustment I'll be doing after my after-back-surgery celebration ride to Austin next weekend. Fortunately I've rebuilt a few engines in the past and know basically what I'm working with when tearing into an engine. I'd say if you don't like doing maintenance yourself or don't have deep pockets to have it done, stay away from the SXV. Its a perfect bike for a tinkerer and so capable!
