Welcome!

We share some common bikes

I ride a R1 on the street and a CRF450 motard for trackdays. I've ridden my boyfriend's 550 before, they're monsters

Awesome! Another chick motard rider We are rare 'round here. (As far as I recall, just me and Celine) I have a Crf450 Supermoto as well. And occasionally thief my friend's DR650 for the street.

Like Mr. P stated, Grandsport Speedway has a lightweight class where all the 'tards play! Fastline runs the show. Come out and enjoy the fun and meet the local motard riders.

Over at Fastline Trackdays (see the sponsor section of this site) we have a "lightweight" run group that is 75% tards and we run a lot of days at GSS, a small tight twisty road course just perfect for your SXV. Come check us out at TWS (Texas World Speedway) for a free parade lap on August 20th.

Monday night minis is the perfect place to have fun on the XR100 powered CR and get to know the mini crowd.

I'm enjoying the SXV so far, I can't do too much leaning until my back heals but I would LOVE to get out to a track day. I've been on GSS and MSR back in my drifting days, would be hella fun on a bike.

Where is the Monday night mini get together? I think one of my buddies went there and said it was off 249 somewhere?

Wow thats badass! How do you like the CRF450 motard? I always wanted to do mine, but the intake valve eating problem shied me away from streeting it. I had to shim mine once in the short time I owned it. Almost got a WR450 back when I was looking for a supermoto to replace the R1, but ended up going with the SXV since it was a bit more than a dirt bike with a key, locking handlebars, etc.

Sweet, a couple chick riders who actually ride, this place it looking pretty cool. I'm used to being the only female around in all the sports I do. I'm surprised at so many CRFs on the street, figured there would be more converted Yamahas. My fiancee also has a DR650, we call it "the beast of burden" because between the SXV's setup and my back I can't carry anything! He replaced his CBR600 with is a few months ago and loves it for comfort and being able to strap a bunch of to it.

Ya I love my DR650. It may be big and heavy, but as a street tard it's a blast!

You chicks could totally kick my on the track! Nice photos too, I might come out and shoot some pics while I'm waiting to be able to track ride. I'm currently a photographer out at Three Palms MX track, street tracking would be fun to photograph.

Is "awesome shots" by Kenny still out there at the races? Havn't been out to 3 palms in a while.

I LOVE it, when it's running. I've had some bad luck though, blown a rod through the cases twice now at GSS.

The version Scopio has MUCH better luck AND electric start AND a kickstand.

Ouch, that's a bummer. Did you find out what caused blown rod to happen twice? Usually the it is the head that's the problem areas, I'm surprised to hear that.
