Gee, some of us have to park outside every once in a while. Take it easy on the guy. A disc lock is better than nothing, and that's what insurance is for.

Oh yeah, y'all are a bunch of reckless squids that don't insure your bikes. I almost forgot.

How about y'all stop ripping people apart and just keep an eye out for the bike?

No need to take it easy on me - I stand behind what I said (but thank you Leo, you're such a gentleman!)

In general, some very talkative members of this board will jump on anyone or anything that they think they can get a laugh out of or rip into people.

If I said my bike was locked to a metal pole inside my alarmed garage in a gated community with a trained attack dog lying next to it and it was stolen... would you tell me I bought the wrong dog?

"would you tell me I bought the wrong dog?"

Now that was funny. Sad thing is that bike is out of the state or in parts by now. That bike would be just too hard to hide. I feel for him though I had my 05 Busa stolen a week before the Lone star rally last year, never to see it again

Really sux.. nice bike. It would be too easyto spot so my guess is that its broken down into parts and in somebody's garage.

I had a bike stolen with a gay wheel lock. The trouble with it was easy to see. The rubber marks on the concrete where they drug the bike to a spot where it could be loaded into a truck.
This all took place in the middle of the day in a nice apartment complex where I knew all my neighbors, in full view of the office. No body saw nuthin.
Never saw the bike again... but after 18 years the scars are not so tender (sniff)
