Glad to hear she's alive, stupid paper said they had both passed.

Need to be extra careful at night...stay in the farthest lane possible away from driveways.... morons everywhere....

Glad to hear Charlie's pulling through.

HWY 6 north of 90 is no place to take a cruise

Update on Charli tonight.. She has been extubated and is breathing on her own. She was somewhat responsive before they pulled the breathing tube, so early signs show no brain or spinal damage. Hope it stays that way. She was wearing a helmet, which pretty much saved her life!! Her sister said her face didn't look that bad, all things considered! Even her mascara wasn't smudged.

I'll keep posting updates as I hear more from the family.
any truth to the rider doing 90mph?

Prayers for Charli, and thank goodness she had on a helmet! I ride this section of road once in a while, but never-ever at night. Riding at night increases risk. Drivers have a hard time judging the speed and distance of a bike, that is if they are even looking for one. If I was the family of the deceased, pending investigation, I would get a really good lawyer....if the bike was going way over 60 mph, well, then you get what you risk sometimes...but it is tough to know the true speeds involved.
