No problem with red light runners in Houston.

only 800,000 tickets have been issued since this program began.

The red light cameras were active for roughly 6 years (04-10), with 800,000 tickets issued.

6 yr * 365 days/year = 2190 days
800,000 tickets / 2190 days = 365.29 tickets/day

Plate relocation, baseball bats, paintball guns, or just do what I do and refuse to pay them.

So you break the law then refuse to pay your fines?

I'm glad you post here. If I ever need to know what NOT to do I just read your posts.

I run red lights all the time on my motorcycle, out of necessity.

The fines levied for red light tickets are a civil matter, not criminal, so no warrants will be issued for non-payment.

People in Houston are sucky drivers. Bottom line. When they get caught [on camera] being a sucky driver they want to whine about it.

Honestly, I don't care much about the red light camera. However, the real beef I have is that people voted it off, but a judge can simply overruled it.... there was nothing Democracy about that!
