Very nice bike.

the 03-04 Cobras are the only mustangs i would consider owning.

Both are nice rides.

I bet it was hard getting rid of the Cobra, but replacing it with a Duc is nice.

Congrats.

If you don't mind me asking, what turned you away from the Monster EVO?

Biggest reason I never got with the Ducati club in Georgia is because I met a few of the members Not ALL of them were asshats, but enough to keep me uninterested...

Congrats on the bike - it's beautiful
I've meet a bunch of nice older guys that ride Ducs but I'm not going to lie, there's a bunch of too. Most of them are younger-ish. But hey, every crowd will have their right?

I like the Monster Evo alot but 1.there's a waiting list for them 2. almost same price as the 848 for a completely stock bike 3. The faact that it's air cooled kinda turned me off. Correct me if I'm wrong but the older S4R's are liquid cooled right?

Yeah man, i'll be back for Grad school this fall. So I'll still be around San MArcos. Do you ride around the Austin area? There's a bunch of nice roads there unlike flat Houston.

I don't have an answer for that question. I'm just starting to learn about Ducati. I'm interested in a Monster, that's why I asked if there was a specific reason why you went the other way.
Didn't know there was a waiting list.

A beaut!! Great choice! It's not that big a diff in maintenance. Try it on the track and feel a Ducs full potential!
