Bike(s):
2004 Yamaha YZF R1
2009 Kawasaki Ninja 500

2002 Honda CBR 929 Fireblade.....

So im interested in purchasing this 2002 Honda CBR 929 Fireblade and would like a little help in my decision. I'm upgrading from a 2009 Kawasaki Ninja 500r

the bike has 25000 miles on it, how long would this bike last assuming it was taken care of?

the parts? will they be difficult to find since they don't make this model anymore?

the price is $2000....is it well worth it?

any info/advice would be appreciated..thanks!

I've always loved that bike!

Don't have any solid information for you, though.

if the bike has a clear title, $2000 is a steal. Whats the condition of the bike? has it been down? has it been maintained? Getting parts for this bike shouldnt be a problem. Hondas are known for their reliability, and I wouldnt hesitate to buy a honda with 25,000 miles as long as it wasnt ragged out too bad.

If it is taken care of it will run forever like a car. This bike is badass always loved them. No parts will not be a prob. I think that is a killer price also. Be careful with the extra power and wheelie the outta that pig!!!

If it's been maintained well, it'll last. Just be sure to get its history.

There's a CBR that's well over 217,000+ miles, so no doubt with good care it'll keep going. Oh yeah, it's a Honda.
