Photography

So, who is into it and what are you using? What do you like to get involved with and take pictures of?

Nikon D50 with the basic 80mm lense.

I actually need alot of help with how to get this camera setup to take proper action shots at night.

Well, I know I need to invest in some good lights but.... still not sure about all the details.

Well I think my lense setup has something to do with the night stuff. I would like to be able to get some good shutter speeds but let some more natural lighting in instead of flashes but, I am still working on it. May have to call some big boys for advice.

canon digi rebel 300D with 17-85mm and 18-55mm.

Lately my pictures have not been turning out to good because the sensor needs cleaning. Anyone who does it themselves willing to show me? Ive been to scared to take on the project myself in fear of scratching it.

Yea...I dont think it helps that at one point I let a best friend borrow my camera, someone I trust completly......He went to the track and sat next to the cars as they did burnouts. I was he knows how I am about the belonings I own. So needless to say, I know it needs a good cleaning on the inside.

I've always been interested in photography but never really contemplated getting an expensive professional camera. I use the little Sony DSC-T9 and the pics come out pretty good with a little editing.

I don't have any lighting (yet) except for the built in flash.

If you play with the manual settings, you can get some good night action shots. Trial and error is the best method I found. There are a few forums for photagraphy that may be able to point you in the right direction for your particular camera.
