Anyone watch Leslie Stahl in N. Korea this morning?

There was nothing partisan about it, that I could tell. I didn't catch the whole segment but I did watch as she interviewed citizens walking down the streets.

They haven't a CLUE how opressed they are or what a nutbag Kim Jong Il is. I've not seen such a brianwashing since, well, the Clinton administration <--joke. Man, it was really sad. They are so paranoid, it's unreal!!

Nope, did not see it. It is a strange thing to see how people live under those conditions. It is even stranger to work with someone who has come to the US from a similar situation.

Didn't see it, but have seen other things in the past. Foreign journalists are not allowed to roam freely. They are escorted and have staged encounters.

If by chance it wasn't a staged encounter, the people are too scared to speak out. Most likely being threatened with prison not just for them, but their whole family.

Sad place.
