I wonder what would have happened if it was a police officer on a police bike and a regular citizen driving with the exact same circumstances.

Truth is all I am asking for. The headline says "Motorcyclist critical after slamming into bus". In reality the headline should read. "Motorcyclist critical after bus driver pulls out in-front of motorcyclist".

Yes the motorcyclist did slam into the bus, but for those just skimming headlines or the crawl media, they may not get the rest of the story.
Prayers to rider and family.

+1

I'm sick of writers bending the truth in their titles just to grab more readers.
This title makes it seem it was completely the rider's fault as if the bus was parked or stopped.

A bus is a bus but ....Police buses are basically armored school buses. Ouch! Hopefully the rider makes it and can tell his side of the story.

and yes a ticket is all the driver should get, same as if the bus driver would have pulled out in front of a car or other vehicle

True. It was an accident and they happen. Even if the rider dies. Very sad.

I agree, the only point I was making was that the vehicle doesn't make a difference. I wish that it wasn't that way but it would be unfair to make motorcycles a protected class.

The rider didn't get a ticket, now did he? If you babies feel picked on, then stop riding, if you even do ride.
