My new R6!

Well I was looking around for another bike after a 2 year hiatus from riding and saw this R6 at Motorcycles Unlimited. Wel I just picked it up today, sorry for the cell phone pic.

I plan on taking the flame decals off tomorrow. Anyone ever done this before? With a heat gun and some adhesive remover, I don't think it will be too bad.

Yeah, those goofy flames gotta go.

I read somewhere that Yamaha claims those redline at like 50 million RPM.

Update: The flames are gone! Well, there's still a very small amount of adhesive left on the black part of the lower fairing. Anyone have any suggestions of how to get that stuff off? I've been using a hair dryer and WD40 and my fingernail to scrape the extra adhesive off.

Oh yeah, I just ordered an undertail kit for it. Anyone ever installed one on these bikes? Fairly simply plug and play?

Anybody up in the Conroe area want to ride? Let me know!

Lacquer thinner. Soak up a paper towel and just keep rubbing and folding lightly.
