Tank install.

Need help installing the tank on my 07 gsxr...

Bought the bike with out a tank. Bought a new one, installed the fuel pump, etc. Just cant seem to mount it...

I either didnt get all the hardware from the seller... Or I just cant figure it out. Can anyone take a few pics of what it should look like where the tank bolts on to the subrame?

Try this -
You didn't say what size bike but this is for a 600.
On the left side you can go to Suzuki parts and page your way right up to the fuel tank.

It's a 5 minute job. I think I have pics.

Be CAREFUL not to bend the main fuel line when you set the tank down. It's VERY easy to do if you don't have the line oriented the right way. Ask me how I know.

Sorry I don't have better pics.

Basically, there's one main bolt up front that goes thru the tank cover and one bolt in the back.

You kind of have to stand the tank up on it's and bring it in rear-to-front and get the mount tube of the tank to sit inside the area circled in red on the back of the frame. There's one allen head bolt that runs thru the two posts in the frame and thru the tank. Once you have that installed, connect the fuel line to the pump, the white power plug to the pump and the two vacuum hoses. One will be small, one will be larger. You can't mess them up.

You can see a little better here how it sits in there.
