If you were pulling the inner hub and basket, sure, you will need an impact or a special tool, but the OP needs a simple plate change, which, if your familiar with the bike, takes 30 minutes, even less, usually involves pulling the clutch cover, and just the bolts holding the pressure plate on(usually 5 or 6 bolts), swapping out the plates, and putting it all back together.

Thanks for all the advice and concern. Bit of a snaffu getting my parts, but thanks to Monsterzx9r, I got the help I needed and made it back home. Really cool guy
