i have two cats. I had one when i moved here but in hawaii he always had a dog to play with. The dog stayed in Hawaii with my girlfriend, it's her's after all, and the cat came with me. Well, my cat was lonely so I got another. They keep each other company, are easy to take care of, i have left them alone for a week without issue. It took three litter boxes, two food and water self feeders and another bowl of water but it wasn't a problem.

I love Cats!! The last one I had I taught her how to use the doggie door, that way I didn't have to deal with a litter box!

get em some catnip. if there is anything cooler than a cat, its a cat thats high. :laughing6

before you get into an ethical tizzy, you have to admit, yur average living is probably quite boring for a cat, and its not like they have to hold a job. :laughing6

We always had a cat growing up. Had a mean one once that would chase the neiborhood dogs down the street. I miss that cat.

Its not that bad. My gf is a vet tech and i got both of my cats from her hospital. They would have been put to sleep as just kittens, but my gf wanted me to save them. If you can find a hospital that has a kitten you want, and that would otherwise be put to sleep, they usually throw in free shots and fixing. Its nice to have two cause they can play togeather, hunt togeather, and keep each other entertained instead of chewing up your furniture and clawing on your carpet.
