Parts for V-Star 1300?

Any one out there know of a shop that sells Yamaha V-Star OEM parts for cheap?

(online or in Houston)

Or maybe a junkyard that MIGHT have parts from another Yamaha V-Star 1300?

I have an OEM muffler from an 1100 Vstar. Don't know if it fits or not. Just throwing it out there.

How bent is it? My brother bends the one on his Vulcan on a regular basis trying to get it adjusted "just right." You might try Houston Cycle Salvage in Pasadena (may be Deer Park). They're not cheap, though. Everything I've ever called them about I've found online for half price or better. They ask OEM prices for some of their used stuff.

Bikebandit is OEM, but they're expensive, too. I'd try cruisercustomizing or westendmotorsports if you haven't, already.

My shifter is bent enough to rub against the plate. Here's 2 pics:

It's definitely ride-able but I can no longer stick my toes underneath to shift up. I am forced to shift with my heel instead (which is fine, but sometimes I like my toes doin' the shiftin')

My brother's was bent worse than that when he got his bike. The metal for the shifter is pretty malleable from side to side. He used a crescent wrench adjusted to the thickness of the shifter arm and just bent it to where he needed it. Didn't even take it off the bike. The toe portion of his shifter was almost touching the floorboard because it had twisted slightly. A few minutes of grunt work, and it's right where it should be. It's not the perfect fix, but it will keep you from dropping the money on a new shifter and give you some time to find a cheap one somewhere.
