Apparently Cycle Gear will no longer carry Vortex.

Was at the CG in Austin looking for a sprocket and one guy asked about ordering one and the other guy said that they cant order Vortex any more. Something about them being at each other so CG will be dropping the brand.

Anyone working at a CG that can shed any info on this. Curious if its true or BS.

Yeah, i am getting a steel sprocket instead. One of those things where i noriced it was very worn and just needed something quick.

Noticed how the helmet wall was heavily stocked with their crappy helmets. Idont trust anything cycle gear since i saw one of their leathers fall apart on a fairly low speed lowside.

I have walked in there twice in about. 2 years and i remembered why when i went in there.

I used to like going to the store and checking everything out, but they do seem to have gone downhill lately.

I did get my Shoei there though, for a good price too. My A* boots and jacket as well, but this was years ago.

They chew thru your boots at an amazing rate. They're just too aggressive on the peg sharpness.

Strange. i have been riding on Vortex rear sets, with my A* supertech R boots for well over 60 sprint races and lord knows how many track days and the soles are fine. Maybe your boots suck. LOL

If they sucked as bad as y'all say they do, it's amazing they are still in business.

I love everything vortex that I have...rear sets, counter sprockets and clip ons.
