6000k is not a setting, it's a color temperature. the lower that number the whiter the light, the higher the lumens rating (lumens = light output). You should research things before blindly purchasing anything just to have it.

if you are near the downtown area , take your bike to two wheel toys & let them hook you up with the right setup.
Or get with one of the knowlegable guys here on the board near you.

I know that it seems no one every is interested in putting in projectors when they do HIDs on their bike, but there are several sites that make kits specifically for putting HIDs with projectors on bikes that include everything (Projectors, wiring, ballists, bulb, shroud, etc). Theretrofitsource.com has the sportbike kit for $150 which is pretty cheap if you ask me. I haven't bought this kit yet but I've heard good things and I plan to in the near future. This might be something to look into for anyone wanting to do HIDs on their bike. You get a real Bi-xenon projected HID rather than the mush of light you get with just putting the bulbs in the reflector housing and blinding everyone else around you.

Go here (link below and scroll to bottom of thread) to see what the light actually looks like. Its sick if you ask me and makes your bike look and headlight function waaaayyyy better than the bulds alone.
