don't let that get to you. If you do, just let it go. Don't let it get to your head, because then it gets in the way of operating and maintaining your bike, the out come could be fatal.
Lol. Nonono. I'm Deaf. As in can't hear a thing. You could train horn my and I'd never be the wiser.

Speaking of becoming fatal...

My Deafness actually enrages cagers even further at times. They think I'm ignoring them them I'm actually not. Road rage sucks. Dammed if I do and damned if I dont...

dude, I had no clue. More power to you, Its not something that should be of a problem. Road rage does suck and I hope there is a solution or something that can help you with this. Me - I get road rage in my car, for no reason :/

Its quite sad, and I don't know how to control it. I get road rage and upset while driving, over the stupidest things. Seriously, If someone is just going slow, or If i don't like the way a person is driving at a certain time of the day, I get enraged. Uncontrollably to, I try to smoke to help myself calm down, but that barely helps.

You will want to find a way to string 4 or 5 of these together for the ultimate MEGA HORN!

People won't know it's you who honked... they'll be looking for the semi truck.
That deaf old geezer driving slow might actually hear you now.

Awesome

I just bought a nautilus and I'll be installing it on my KLR once my cylinder comes in. My buddy has one and I almost wet myself the first time he honked it.

Let the honk. I was pretty worried about riding on the street so when I came to a light I would wait till at least a car or someone else pulled out before me.
One day at BW8 and beachnut I wait for the light to change. It turns and i wait for a car to pull out into the intersection first and to my left some lady in her car runs the light. If I would have gone like I normaly do then I would have been in her windsheild.

I saw the exact same thing happen at that intersection a few years ago. Explorer sporttrack took impact on front left tire and tipper over.

the horn is a sign of aggression in the states, so is flashing lights it seems.

been in s.e.asia for a few months now and driving here flashing lights and beeping the horn are as right as rain. not in angry or aggressive ways either, just communication really.

I don't see the horn or light flashing as aggressive by any means. Unfortunately, what happens when so many people hear a horn or see lights flashing, they become offended that someone would deign to suggest that the honkee or flashee might need to be reminded to pull their head out of their and get back to the task of driving..

i honk all the time. in fact, i'm on my second horn now in 9 years in the same truck b/c i blew the first one. i hate waiting... on anything.

mostly i honk at retards... not at people at green lights that don't immediately floor it. haha

I hate when you're 6 cars back and the person in the front of the line doesn't go and no one else honks.

So I'm on my horn 6 cars back being an ...hoping the people in front of me will catch on and eventually the douche in front will hear someone.
