When I went to Eagle's Canyon they put those red X's to show turn-in points.
Either that or there was something else on the track, water, coolant, etc.

There was a third guy who went down too. I dunno that was weird. Saw that red tape on the ground but it looked like the first guy missed it.

Just rewatched it and stopped where you could see the X.
He went over the right side of it, probably trail braking pretty hard. Once the tape broke traction it was all over.

Um...that's me filming.

The first guy tucked the front, too much brake pressure... Then I, instinctively, touched my front brake to avoid him and tucked my front. Then the guy behind me did the same thing I did and tucked his front.

Not the X's, not coolant, oil, gravel, dirt, etc.

/ speculation.

He seems to have pretty bad body position.

We were working on it. Unfortunately he was unable to get out there and make corrections as his fuel tank was damaged pretty bad.

Typically we will film the student for a couple of laps and then critique the rider, on the big screen, in class. Then the student has an opportunity to correct whatever issues were pointed out, during the video critique, on their next session out.

That particular turn, T9, has a nice bump in it. If you run a bit wide and hit that bump, with too much brake pressure, you will load the front tire and have trouble.

Here is a moderate lap at ECR, for race line reference. Turn 9 is where the incident happened.

Kinda like that bump on turn 10 at TWS (Texas World Speedway), I had a guy eat it right in front of me when he hit that, except I didnt get scared and crash too, neither did the guy behind me.

No sir. Those were my Arlen Ness' that I ahve crashed in 10+ times. I have the new K11's from Arlen Ness. They are my sprint leathers cuz sprintin' is a dangerous game. I wear what I know works.

No...you are correct. I'm not suggesting he it that bump. He was just applying too much brake pressure when he turned in.
