Truth & Personal Opinion.....

Truth I have owned both Kawasaki & Suzuki.
I have noticed that regular bikes are dependable from both sides.
I also have noticed alot of false advertisment from the Suzuki camp on big bikes like the Hayabusa, and the Gsx-r 1K. I have heard many times that when new changes are made there are report of problems the first year that range a wide spectrum.
Then why are Suzuki's more popular ?
Is it beacause they are cheaper and easier to obtain ?
Does Kawasaki still ride off of the Ninja name?*
* There are some people who dont know bikes and will call each and every bike they see a Ninja. Its like Ninja is the generic name for bikes. Very similar when people call the counter top in the kitchen Formica. Formica is a name brand. :eh:

Kawasaki in my opinion has been known for the engine being powerful and reliable. Suzuki seems to me have answered this by making changes to the engine size. Kawasaki also made changes to the their bikes. Now Suzuki is really stepping up the game to where is it is a whole new level of performance.

Kawasaki specs: http://www.sportrider.com/bikes/2007...fications.html

Suzukiís claim : The new 2007 GSX-R1000 has been developed with lessons learned over more than 20 years of production racing domination.
It is more than just a motorcycle. It is the most powerful and most efficient GSX-R ever built. The new 2007 Suzuki GSX-R1000, Own The Racetrack.

ohnah
The new Gsx-R will be unlike any other bike. That is the best way to be different

Now if they just did away with the dual cans and the cheesy looking blinker/ mirror setup that all black wouldnt look so bad. Nice.
All that performance dont mean if you cant tap it out but at 45% of its potential on the street anyways. Unless you take it to the strip or the track. But Still the potential is there.
