with new bike models arriving, there will be some problems the manufacturer may not fix until they are released the following year. JP, since you like to buy bikes alot (well in my opinion) buy the reliable zx10r and see what Suzuki problems the gsxr 1k may have.

Good post, this years 10R is basicalley the same as the 06, and it is a proven machine. It won MasterBike again this year for its category. (3 time winner)

no I have never raced ralph, all i do is try to improve my wheelies, what would make you think a 636cc bike and a 599cc bike would be a good race. anyone can race not everyone can wheelie

No kidding... You're less likely to become a road pizza and a statistic.

It's one thing to run the twisties to have fun. It's another to compete and put yourself and others in danger.

agreed, you should ride to your level, and don't try to showboat and be a hardass.

All that frame cracking is such overdramatized B U L L S H I T! There have been some isolated cases, but those were some hard crashes in most cases. I have 17k miles on my 05 1K and trust it with my life. True, things are made lighter theses days and don't survive crashes as well as bike did back in the 80's and 90's, but most of it is just gossip!!!
