Get what you want. I rock +20/-1 on my 929. My buddy James rocks a +28/-5 on his f4i. It's all personal preferance. Are you still gonna ride the streets or is it strictly a parking lot set-up? What bike do you have?

stocks fine. It just makes it way harder on your bike doing circles and stuff....plus ya don't have any engine break at slow speeds. big sprockets, hand/brakes, etc. "Keep up with the times or don't about getting left behind!" lol

youll just have to find what best suits you man, im rocken a -1+10 on mine kinda unuser freindly when it comes to the streets but perfect for me, i just suggest finding a freind that has a sprocketed bike they will let you ride so you can get the feel and see what best suits you.

I heard some new bikes are coming with "cassette-based" transmissions so you can easily change out individual gears for diff ratios... I wonder if that will make it easier to have a super-low-range 1st gear and have more or less stock 2nd-6th for normal street riding... ?

That's something that I've talked about for awhile. That would be great.
